I want to create an election banner, of "Vote Adam Miller", all one letter to an A4 sheet with each letter being composed of lots of little "vote adam miller" 's shaped to form the letter if you catch my drift. Is it possible to do it with the type mask tool? If not what should I use?

    If you have Photoshop:

Create the document and type "Vote Adam Miller" the size you want the big one to be

Then create a new document and type "Vote Adam Miller" in the smaller size you want. Select that layer and then choose Edit> Define Pattern

Go back to the big image and select the big "Vote Adam Miller" (ctrl+click on the layer in the layers pallette) and create a new layer with the selection still active

Then choose Edit> Fill and select pattern and your newly created pattern from the list.

That should give you the effect you want.
Sorry if I'm not being clear, it's late

Thanks, that'll do nicely, even if the election's on Firday. Should get it done.

EDIT- Make that Friday. Anyone need a new national holiday? Firday!
