What kind, the usual E-Class/Granada type or the classic Daimler type?

Is it a vintage hearse or just one from the 70's or 80's?

    Can hearses use Bus lanes?
After all they are carrying a fare paying passenger. :D

I've heard the back end is quite stiff in them but you can cure this by unshuffling the mortal coils.

    I'll get me coat...

I have three vintage hearses (sorry not for sale) all coachbuilt from new 50's to late 60's in my experience with them any thing fancy makes big money, especially American ones. A lot of home made rubbish ( made in some guys garden shed not built by a recognised coachbuilder) around most of these are out of proportion and just look wrong. There are some good hearse sites online if you want to check them out , Grim rides is one and I think there is also an English hearse register.

See what you think of these hearses...was this what you had in mind!?!?!?!

The only pun that actually made me laugh. Makes my “hearses for curses” work in progress look very weak now.

Do you by any chance think htat a hearse would by good for just general everyday use?

Do you mean general everyday use as in hearse general everyday use or car general everyday use?

I don't think its a great idea to be honest. Sure it might be great fun but you would want to be mechanically minded, have loads of money for fuel and parts, also I think you will draw unwanted attention from the Gardai.....but thats just my opinion.

A few hearse photos gothic style and a nice e-type hearse!

I mean just normal car every day use,i read that the parts are ment to last for absoltely ages cause they are for commercial use.
