7800GT not booting

    Hi, it arrived an hour ago, it posts but it wont boot into windows, not even in safe mode. and i tried windows setup and it wont go into the graphical mode.


    Motherboard is MSI K8N SLI, 3500 Newcastle @ 2.5 ghz.


    And yes the SLI daughtercard is in single card mode.

    Any ideas?

    Have you tried both DVI outputs? Try booting at stock speeds?

    Tried both DVIs, no luck and the psu is a bequiet 480w, 29a on the 12v rail so it aint a problem

    Turns out there was an "Aggressive Timings" option in the bios which it didnt like, going great now.
