    Ok, where to start...

...A few months ago i had a house party and my best mate came over with this girl he met a few days before. Anyway, he wasnt too interested in her, and he hasnt spoken to her in about a month now. I thought she was great, and we got on fairly well. I met her a few times in the pub aswell and everything was cool.
So me and my mate went out about a week ago and got fairly drunk, so i asked him for her number. He said he doesnt give a **** about her anyway. Im just wondering should i get in touch and if so, what will i say? Doesnt have to lead anywhere, meeting her again as a friend would be cool too.

Why should it? Everyone has a past.

Just give her a shout and go for beer/food/cinema/something. See what happens. Make sure she knows how ur mate feels and ull figure out what the story is.

Go for it. Worst case scenario it doesn't work. But hey, if you you don't try it's failed already, right?

If your friend isn't interested in taking it further with her, then you've got your chance. It was very sound of you to run things by your mate first.
