Fitz Double Chance Q

    Heya folks,

Long time lurker, first time poster :D

I was kinda half thinking about heading in tonight to the double chance game, but am a bit confused, is it effectively a FO, and just get your other half of chips at any time, or do these need to be paid for aswell? if not, why not just take them all straight away? Are there any rebuys/top-ups allowed?

Whats the usual turnout numbers for the tourney?

I've been to the Merrion a few times, but never to the Fitz, although it seems to be the boards fav, I used to work for a company who occupied the floor there, my desk/office was in the right corner after the partition, (i.e. diagionally opposite the stairs (is that still there?(the stairs that is))

Anyway, back to lurking for me, and thanks for any answers to the above questions

    Regards

    -Roy

p.s. thinking about the 50 tourney in the merrion tomorrow aswell. what sort of numbers do that one?

Yeah the extra chips are Free. Depends on your style of game and also what the rest of the table does as to whether you take them straight away or not. It can be good to have a reserve if you get a bad beat but then if you are up against some with more chips than you and win you have lost a chance at doubling them up.

That's a double chance? Down here in the people's republic, they're calling it a double chance when you get either a rebuy or a topup (for more chips) but not both.

    Hmmm.

You can get the second stack anytime after the first hand.

So, is it a Freeze-Out then? or can you rebuy/topup?

    Thanks
