Irish Ferries Free Ticket Offer Questions

I made the really bad mistake of sailing with Irish Ferries to France this summer (we got caught up in a strike when we arrived at France).
Anyhow, when I booked the tickets I.F. were doing an offer of free tickets to the UK with every ticket to France bought. I would like to take my car across the Irish Sea to a track there but am coy about going anywhere near this outfit again.
Has anyone else availed of this? Any problems?
Should I just stay away from this incompetent/ungrateful/slave labour employing /... shower?

That title is really misleading. I thought you were giving away a ticket.

Considering they have just told their staff that half are to be made redundant and the other half are to do twice the work for less pay and worse conditions it would be a fair bet that there will be big problems very shortly.

Yeah - I think I'll stick by my promise of never using them again & give their offer a miss. Spending 7 hours stuck last June in Roscoff was bad enough - I wont choose to do it again.
