no-one would have a Canon 50mm 1.8 MkII lens they would like to sell? I want to pick one up, but shops are too expensive and ebay only throws up Hong Kong sellers. Just wanted to check here first!

You are pretty much proposing a sale, but on the other hand

    No.

I'm not breaking the rules. I'm not selling anything. I'm asking if anyone has the lens. If they do, i'll take it else where.

As for hong kong traders, i don't have anything against them, just the big shipping costs. So just wanted to see if anyone here has one. Thanks all the same

nope... price given on the site is the only price you'll pay*

    *in my experience anyway

TimAy, I wouldnt let the cost of shipping put you off; the item will still work out cheaper than you could get it here for. Even after paying around €35/40 shipping on a lens I saved about €150 off the Irish retail price.

Fair enough, some people may have interpreted it in a different way. You sounded as if you were posting a wanted ad, thus leading to a sale, which is fine if you had taken it to the FS forum, then again I'm not the Mod, I was just watching out for fellow boarders.
