    I've downloaded it!!! Now I've only got to install it and then go buy a new pc :(

    I've a 1.3ghz junker with a 32mb radeon card. (born circa 2001, retired oct 2005) ah well!

    I've got a self-built PC with a P4 2.4GHz, with 1Gb of RAM and a 128MB Ati RADEON PRO Hercules. Will this be suffiecient for CoD2? Does anybody know the minimum spec for this game?

    Right, here's what I found online:

    Minimum spec:

    Pentium PIII 800 MHz Processor or AMD Athlon
    NVIDIA GeForce™ or ATI Radeon™ 7000 or higher
    CD-ROM: 4X or Faster
    256 MB RAM

    Recommended spec:

    Pentium 4 2.4GHz or Athlon64 3000
    Video Card: Geforce FX 5700 or Radeon 9600 or higher
    CD-ROM: CDRom 52x or DVD Rom 16x
    RAM: 512 MB RAM

    I guess I'll be ok except maybe in the Video Card department...? Ah sure we'll see...

    FYI: Booked a day off Friday 4th November for the release of CoD 2! :D Now that's dedication (or sadness...)!

    WOW class this will even run on my laptop. Nice move not making it as power hungry as BF2. The game that made video card sales rise.

    aye, I tried a few, but they all maxed out at somewhere between 200kb/sec and 500kb/sec
    Then I spotted ftp.sunet.se :)
    Got the full 100megabit down. Took me approx 2 minutes.

    Mucho impressed with the game. Hopefully MP will be as good as the original
