Was thinking that as well, very striking colours in the few I've seen.

Oh two replies, thanks guys. I appreciate when people take the time to look at something I did and then on top of that they comment on them. Thanks again. There'll be more pics soon enough.

I like your style of your shots. The picture of the tree is my favourite, and as others said your pictures are very clear and sharp.

Thank you Silver Knight. Personally I find that if you take your time and don't rush into them, you will get the accurateness you want. Study the subject, and explore the different angles, try something new, but not anything that will obscure the subject.

I use Macromedia Fireworks, not the most powerful for photography. Photoshop is far superior, but to be honest i think it's down to the person and not their tools(Within Reason). I wouldn't ever do much to my photos, about as extreme as it gets would be putting a Hue/Tint on a photo. Such as a sepia.

Could i be so bold as to ask what camera you own? Beautiful quality to the shots.. ;)

1st; Nice colours, strange since its your crotch

2nd;The little fuzzy aura around yourself is nice... like a pop out on the fuzzy background

3rd; Very nice... a really natural photograph

4th; The length of the pic is great... gives it presence and the colour sets it up really nicely

Ha! Typical teenage lad – obsessed with your crotch. Any excuse! In auld Ireland you’d be arrested for that photo. Is that an Egon Schiele copy sketch on your wall in the second? Nice work on the tree sunset and vertical panorama.

I use a canon G6, but it's got a broken screen so i just gotta make do without it.

I know it's my crotch, but thats where all the wrinkles form, so it's the most interesting area.........

Thanks for all the comments, i honestly appriciate it. :)

The you and your room one is photoshopped, right?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,645 ✭✭✭Shrimp

Thats manual focus. Thanks for looking.

I love the one with the tree, feels like the rain forest or something.

The one of you and your room looks almost ghostly, very well focussed. Well shot!

Not too gone on the crotch one, nice texture and all but ... it's your crotch :)

I like the colors of the sky in the panorama. The only problem I have with it is the subject, it would have been nicer if it was just a single small tree in the distance or a tall structure or something. A building site is just a little plain.

Yeah, but there's something wrong-looking with the dimensions or something. The lamp shade looks to be able twice the size of your head, even though it's behind you.

from looking at the pic again, and the shadows cast, i'd say he's standing under the shade.

Surely then the light would be in focus too, due to it being in the same DOF?
I take it you used a large aperture there Shrimp?

Thanks, I would agree with you and I know what you mean. Seeing I couldn't change the surroundings thats as good as I could get really. Actually my aim was to get an image of the Sky and Grass, but it been divided by man. Thus Divided Nature. Thanks for all your C&C.

I was standing about half a foot in front of the lampshade. The lamp shade was in half focus, slightly out of focus, as I had a medium aperture. I then used the blur tool to just blend it in to the BG.

The focus on your self pic is very good. I like the blur.
The tree shot is quite nice. I think if you could have
gotten a nicer foreground for the builder site pic it would
have looked alot nicer as that sky is a perfect colour.

    Nice pics

I agree with the point about the building site pick, there isn't a definite subject. Thank you for viewing my photos, and commenting on them. I'm glad you like them, and I appreciate it.
