    in keeping with the recent strange posts -

    i had a dream that i was dealt pocket 8s in every hand of a NLHE tourney. in this hypothetical situation, how well do you think you would do?

    early on you would have to really know how to make your implied odds pay off on trips. then when it comes to the stage where people start making all in moves pre flop you would be heavily relying on your ability to read players and make a judgement call on whether youre 50/50, 66/33, or against an over/under pair.

    maybe pocket Ts or 9s would make for a better question but hey it was 8s in the dream.
