    Anyone ever played in this?

Was thinking about going down tonight, what's the standard of play like? average turnout?

The standard of play is usually pretty good . Most players have a good knowledge of the game. There is usually a few bad players aswell. It usually gets between 40 - 60 runners. However this could be less tonight because there is a tournament in the red cow hotel and there is a big tournament on thursday in the fitz. Its difficult to judge. You can be sure of a great night of poker as the staff in the fitz are excellent and the players very friendly. Definitly worth a visit.

i was in the Fitz on Saturday and there were flyers for a Charity tournament tonight for the "Make a wish foundation". I think there is one buy in or top up tonight, which will go to the charity, plus reg fees (as far as i can remember). You could phone Fitzwilliam on 01-6114677 and ask for the poker desk to confirm (just in case i have the date wrong). It is a very good tournament though.
Im thinking of going to the Irish Poker events tournament in the Red Cow tonight. you can check that out on their website www.pokerevents.ie if you want.
Anyway good luck in whichever one you decide to go to

I think this is cancelled tonight and the game tonight will be a charity tournament, €100+20 plus one €50 rebuy, only the €100 to go to the prize pool.

    Somebody correct me.
