Fury of the storm for a questionably high bpm  , we need mighty swords and viking helmets.... With the possibility of tankards and fair maidens. Followed by pillaging of dublin town :D

Just read the other Dragonforce thread, for some reason I was thinking that their Dublin gig was close to selling out, looks like it's completely the opposite! Ah well, the TBMC is rather uncomfortable when packed.

I'll be there in any case, gettin' my ticket today, looking forward to this.

There was a pit at dragonforce...

I know those words, but yet that sentence makes no sense.

I knew there was something I forgot :(

    Forgot completly about it

Haha, that was I'd say, the cheesiest gig I've ever seen before.. The most arrogant band ever - I've never seen more shape throwing!
Enjoyable enough, but at times I really cringed!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,992 ✭✭✭Korvanica

yes it did... especially when they stood in a circle and fretted each others guitars..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,519 ✭✭✭Oral Slang

Or when yer man went through the crowd on the sound guys shoulders (or whoever it was), or when they played their guitars with their asses!!!
    It was ridiculous!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,585 ✭✭✭honru

I'd say they were as cheesy if not cheesier than The Darkness, comparing the Vicar Street gig from two years ago.

I mean, The Darkness had costumes but this was just madness. The Asian guy just stool on the ramp and soloed like it was nobody's business.

It was all in good fun though.

well mini pit: ie about 10 of us

That was oodles upon oodles of fun. OODLES. Really great gig.

I need to print myself up a t-shirt saying "It's okay to beat me up" or "I can take the pit" or something. People seem afraid to go near a less-than-five-foot girl in frills, ribbons and a skirt.

That was you? I saw you outside, and was like, doesn't look like the average dragonforce fan

That kicked so muchos ass! It was so arrogant, and so cheesy, but so so great and fun. The pit was entertaining. Not particularly life-threatening, but a good time was had. It left me bruised and sore, and I'm not a small guy.

the singer was sick. they were apperantly going to play 3 more songs but he felt so **** they didn't.
