getting a Dutch book published in English

Hi,

There is a book a Dutch guy wrote about life in a Thai Prison. It has been reprinted 7 times due to popular demand. I asked the publishers about getting the book published in English and they said they are going to try and do it sometime.

I am wondering if i can help in anyway to get this book published in English. Could i approach some publishers myself ?

I dont know much about this kind of stuff so any help is appreciated.
