Trying to source the cheapest laptop for basic office applications for my girlfriend for college. The only requirement is that it would need to last so that probably means a good service package.

Jes have a laptop for €499 but I presume it would have a german keyboard laptop also if something went wrong sending it back to germany would be inconvenient.

Pc World have have a Packard Bell 4622 for €749.00 im emailing them to ask about the warranty with that service.

The other option is a dell laptop & adding a Standard 3yr plan which works out at about €950
    Any thoughts suggestions.

This seems like your best bet, as I have never had a problem with dell tech support. But its been a few years since I have had to deal with them.
