The Sunday Game on RTE

    What are RTE trying to do with the Sunday Game ? First they took away the music . Now just before the parade ,with the game about to start , they interrupt the coverage with another ad for Bulmers Cider . - Arent they getting enough money already from the licence fee ? Whats going to happen next - the sky sports route of playing ads during breaks in the play ?

    As for Pat Spillane , he is the worst presenter of any programme I have ever seen .HE was good as a football analyst - told it as it was , but his presenting skills are very limited . He wants to put accross his own point of view always , even when he asks somebody a question , he listens and then interrupts and answers it for them.

    He knows nothing about hurling either and continously interrupts Donal o Grady and the opther analysts. Why cant RTE bring back Micheal Lyster to the night time programme also or give some of the younger talent in RTE a fair chance.

    Whats with the camera work as well ? We are watching a match and all of a sudden , the camera man goes to look at some young one in the crowd. They often use the wrong cameras at the wrong time . Start putting up the statistic graphic which takes up most of the screen , during crucial phases.

    When ever there is a presentation of a cup , they either cut it short or interrupt the speech with some crap analysis . these should be rules of broadcasting , that they shouldnt break.
