The RTÉ DTT system, announced as going into testing in 1999 originally, is being mentioned again recently, with Three Rock and Clermont Carn being touted as test transmisison sites

Now, I get my normal RTE here off Three Rock, and I'm wondering if any tests have actually started yet? Probably not, but if they have I'll probably pick up a DTT box to have a play around with.

That is, if RTE don't encrypt their tests....
