Dell, Toshiba or Pack. Bell laptop?

    Go for the Toshiba. Its my theory that Dell just make laptops with a lifespan of 18-months and then they start go give major trouble.

    One caveat with the Satellite range...make you get a model where the cooling fans are at the side or back and NOT the base. The c.fans at the base can create big trouble in the long term .

    The only thing is at the moment, dells are coming with 512 or 768MB RAM, without costing any more.

    That said, toshiba ram seems to be easy to pick up cheaply.
