Jesus - what a gig!! Was anyone else at it?? The 2 others - Patrice O' Neill and Dane Cook were also outstanding. Denis Leary is the funniest b*stard live! :D

Without a doubt the worst "Comedian" I have ever heard..

Want to hear something cool. Buy Arizona Bay By Bill Hicks

ah i'd say the old Denis Leary/ Bill hicks debate is just about to kick off any minute now.

then that should lead to the Bill Hicks / Lenny Bruce show down! (LB'd win!)

Yeah - let's not get into that. I admit some of his stuff is similar, but if you're gonna use someone's material, why not use the best?! Last night was very original anyway.. Great gig

The tickets should've read "Denis Leary Presents..." rather than just "Denis Leary". He only performed stand-up for ~20 minutes. A few songs were played too, fairly disappointed with that. The updated 'Asshole' tune was very good though :) Patric O'Neal came on and stole the show, absolutely hilarious! Dane Cook was OK.

Let's not do the Denis Leary/Bill Hicks debate or we'll have to do the Richard Prior/Eddie Murphy/Chris Rock one too

i'd agree with fidelis, the 2 "supports" were good, but i went to see leary who i felt was a let down tbh

Dane Cook > Patrise > Denis Leary..

Learys **** this **** that routine gets old very very quickly, I was pissed off after about ten minutes so was glad of the support acts, which I didn't realise were even on the bill... the two were very fresh and a welcome change... especially Dane, extremely funny and very impressive.

As I approached the point and saw on the notice board Dennis Leary "AND FRIENDS", I knew there was trouble ahead.
Leary was a let down, had it not been for New Orleans and our own Shirley Temple bar he would have had no new material.
I saw O'neill on TV before, same act, failry funny, although here he de-railed himself at one point with the Indians and he never recovered, left out the funniest part of the act.
As for the other guy, a bit low brow, toilet humour, who wants to hear about a grown man taking a dump?

A little bit of a plot or stream to the comedy is required!

Anyway, with an audience that size someone will always laff and clap, Ill never do the point again, it ruined Eddie Izzard and now Leary!
