Does anyone else think that the NTL Broadband ad is slightly offensive to people with stutters?

The one where it talks about how slow dialup is compared to broadband.. Just thought it was kind of offensive.

havent heard it, but if it uses someone with a stutter voice to dial up and then someone speaking fast and fluidly to broadband, I think they've crossed the line.

Thats exactly what they did, and the stutter is really bad too.

Sounds like something for the ASAI to investigate, did you write to them already? Haven't heard the ad but I've a nephew with a stutter and I don't think it's right to ridicule it.

i like it, think its funny, not to be taken too seriously its just an ad - but if it does/did offend you as said above the asai deal with it, and obviously dont get ntl broadband if you dont already have it

www.asai.ie has an online complaints form that you can email, click on advertising and self regulation in the ledt hand column, then top middle of screen has how to complain button, have written it out because as you click these buttons the address does not change, i.e. no link
