Tadgh Kennelly - What a STAR!

    I had a lump in me throat after watching Tadgh Kennelly be awarded his medal for the Sydney Swans after winning their first premiership in 72 years. What a star this guy is! He played am absolute ripper of a game and can't wait to see him step out for Ireland in the International Rules in October.

    Congratulations to him been the first ever Irish person to win the AFL.

    Hopefully now because he has won the AFL he can help Ireland win in Australia this year. COME ON IRELAND!!!

    Ireland have had a good record when playing in Australia. Although 'Big Bad Barry' will probably be playing and won't have any qualms about giving a few 'love taps' to the Irish lads.

    Should be a good one...

    We should get Diarmuid O'Sullivan on the panel and stick him on "Big Bad Barry" and then see how he gets on... :D

    Diarmuid looks like a player who plays for Port Adelaide by the name of Warren Treadrea. I always thought Warren Treadrea looks like a Corkonian. Should be a good match up...

    Why the hell were Tadgh Kennelly and Setanta O'hAilpín, who both play in the AFL, not picked for the Irish squad? They're way better than most of the Irish squad picked.

    Kennelly is having an operation done on his knee so he pulled out of it. Setanta isn't in the squad because he was absolutely terrible last year. A Junior C player probably would have done better than him.

    Setanta mostly plays in the VFL sorta like a reserve league or Division 1 if you like.
