Fair play to the artists responsible for adding some much deserved humour into our joke of an infrastructure here in Ireland!

Alas, the end of the month is coming & then we can FINALLY reap it's rewards! :):)

That Gracedeiu road has been ready for months - no doubt waiting for minister or civil servant to sign a bit of paper or make an opening in thir diary to officially open it - .
I periodically travel to Sligo and Donegal, and they have some of the best roads around up there - I noticed that in less than a year since I was there, they have built and Opened the Sligo bypass (it was just a muddy cutting this time last year) and are almost finished the Ballyshannon and Bundoran bypasses (which were not even started a year ago).

Meanwhile, down this way, it still takes an hour to travel 30 miles on the Dublin road to Paulstown, and huge artics fight their way through Thomastown - its a Joke! BMW regions my a*se!

I thought that artics are banned from Thomastown and in general from the section of the N9 from Paulstown to Ballyhale. AFAIK there is acompulsory diversion via Kilkenny on the N10?

They are indeed meant to go through Kilkenny. The buses still have to fight their way through though, often gettin stuck at the turn just past Carey's pub when they meet other traffic. It's madness that they have to go through such a tight space, I wouldn't be surprised if they've caused structural damage to the buildings at the corner, there are many scrapes along the wall where buses and other vehicles have been caught while turning, that can't be good for the buildings there.
