ok, i know this might sound like a stupid question, but i need to know is it possible to get a connector/adapter that takes 3 seperate 3.5mm jack cables and makes them one? i realise this means ill lose the actual surround sound part of the speakers, but at least all of the speakers will be in use, id rather have 5.1 non surround than my 1.1 system!

if its possible, where would i get this miraculous cable?

U could make one up... easy enough to do. Maplin will have all the bits n u'll get wiring diagrams on the net for 3.5mm jacks
