    How to get here from New York:
    At GRAND CENTRAL in New York City get train to RHINECLIFF- sit on the left side of train for a wonderful trip up the Majestic Hudson River- ( 1 1/2 hour trip). Then in RHINECLIFF get Taxi ($6. approx) to the village of RHINEBECK ( short trip of 2 1/2 miles).

    Rhinebeck is a small town but has excellent Restaurants, Boutiques, B & Bs , Aerodrome, Beekman Arms Hotel ( still in operation since the 1700s) and lots of other places to entertain you. It is a 'walking village 'with wonderful treelined streets and homes.
    We are not far from the many Hudson River Mansions: Vanderbilt, FDR Library, Wilderstein etc. ( you will need a car or taxi to get to these).

    Come up for the day or longer and enjoy small town USA .
    The Fall colors are just around the corner as well as the Holiday Season.
