Ok so was looking at Komplett's website for a 19" or 20" monitor. I'm kinda split between getting the offer on the Liyama 20.1" C510TS for €448.99 or taking the Samsumg 19" 910MP for €479  With tv tuner I save money so don't have to buy monitor and tv for me room.
I'd say it would be used 60% as a tv and 40% computer with FPS games. I used to have an 19" LG 995FT CRT for the computer but had to leave it behind.
:D:D Anyone got any "nerdy" suggestions?? :D:D

That Iiyama monitor is quoted as 640x480 maximum resoluton... You're not gonna like that for using your PC on!

You could get a normal LCD monitor and an el cheapo Tv-tuner card, any card that DScaler works with will get a quite good picture out of standard ntl cable. should be less than 50 euro for a compatible card.

Yeah I was sceptic about the resolution as well so I emailed them:
    Dear Customer,
The highest resolutions on these TV's appear to be 1280 x 768.

I don't like the way it's written "appear"
I tried to google it to see if that resolution was right but still no luck.

If I buy a seperate tv tuner will the picture be just as good?

No. I dont know why, but the picture just isnt that great off of a TV-Tuner card.

The 17" samsung tv would be a nice one to get, it's gotten good reviews. I think that 19" one is an older model. If you look around you can find this: http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.asp?sku=313310&cks=PRL for more like 850 euro. It's a bit more than what you were looking at, but it really is the nicesty LCD TV/ computer screen ive seen before.
