Anyone any recommendations? I've decided to venture into this unknown territory of besuited grappling at least a little bit to see how I get on. What do you use? Why not post a few pics as well?

HCK are good, plain, heavy hardwearing gis. http://www.howardliu.com/

Atama have a range of styles, but this is their basic gi. It's very light and comfortable. Since it's thinner it might not be as hardwearing, but I haven't noticed any problems yet.http://www.atama-kimonos.com/

Machado kimonos (NOT the Adidas JJ Machado kimonos) again are quite plain, not as heavy as the HCK. The most comfortable gi I've worn, but I've noticed that the material has started to bobble a little, mostly on the pants. http://www.mkimonos.com/whitsinweav.html

To be honest though I'd say you're better off just getting the cheaper judo gi you can find.

    Group hug?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,081 ✭✭✭Musashi

Man hugging is only allowed during MMA training or seminars, it's a privilege not a right people!
Where you based? Dolfnep may have space for you on the seminar if you jump now? Gonna be a good one, two days with the top guys from Ireland and GB.
Couldn't beat this one at John Brawn prices really! And it's for cheap..................
