Roof lights? What brand?

Hi Wondering is it just good marketing or is Velux a better roof light. We have quotes in too for Vistatherm and Farco (I think?). Anyone use Velux or other roof lights and if so why? Words of wisdom please.

I had 4 Fakro windows installed - mainly because that's what the local builders merchant stocked. He reckoned they were better than Velux - and I think he knew his stuff. They are fine so far (only been living in the house for 4 weeks) Bit tight to close - but apart from that no problems so far.

we have 4 velux windows in our house for must be 13 yrs and not one problem with them.
