Codecs for Nero

    I am having trouble with both playing certain AVI files in Nero showtime and burning the same files using Nerovision Express. The problem I have is that the sound is out of sync with the video. It starts fine bit gradually gets out of sync. It usually takes about 15 minutes of the AVI for it to be noticeable. I am guessing that I need to install some codecs.

    I was wondering first of all how to install codecs for Nero or how do I set Nero to use some codecs I have downloaded. I think the AVI files that the problem occurs on are HDTV video.

    Has anybody ever encountered a similar problem.

    yes,

    My solution dont convert with nero vision express!!
    spent ages at it with no luck.

    I assume ur making vcds or dvds from the xvid videos
    nero does a lot of good things but this isnt its strong point
    there are loads of better ways to do this check videohelp.com

    Cheers for that, there seems to be several tools referenced on videohelp.com that will do the job.
