Anyone know where I could get my hands on about 5 bars cut to 1.5ft each.
I am talking about the steel bars used for reinforcing concrete/foundations, with the twisty outside.

    Chunks.

If diameter isnt important Woodies do threaded bars for making up bolts.

If diameter is important try Heiton Buckleys or 'proper' builders providers.

The only DIY place you might get them is B&Q, who have a builders yard.

Any half decent builders merchant should have the re-bar you are looking for, try yellow pages.
