The new IrelandOffline Committee for 2005-2006 are:

    Damien Mulley, Chairman aka damien.m
    John Timmons, Vice-chair aka JWT
    Aidan Whyte aka Moriarty
    Eamonn Wallace aka Bealtine
    Martin Harran aka DonegalMan

    New committee members are:
    Lyall Guiney aka Morgoth
    Jonathan Ó Rinn aka Jorinn
    Gary Devitt aka Garth_V
    and Mr Blaster99 :)

There are a few different areas we are working on for the next 12 months and the following Committee members can be contacted about these if you wish to help out:

    FIA - bealtine
    FRIACO - JWT, Morgoth
    Consumer Issues - damien.m
    eircom - DonegalMan, jorinn
    USO - damien.m
    Formalisation - Moriarty, jorinn
    Stats/Facts/Pricing - Blaster99
    Politics - bealtine, Morgoth
    Ad buster - Garth_V

Each of the owners of these sections will probably send out requests for assitance on our Volunteers mailing list and on the Announce Mailing list as well as on the forum here. We hope that as we collate information we'll be adding it to the Wiki.

Weighted heavily towards the male half of the population is it not?

Unless Mr Blaster99 is a woman???

Absolutely, but then it is traditionally a male arena. The only female* at the AGM didn't volunteer to be on the committee, so not much more can be done!

    * Not including the sweet little old lady who was there to buy a PC

There will definitely be a female on the committee next time around. One way or the other. We'll start feeding bealtine hormones in his cornflakes if needs be.
