It's not my connection, as everything else worked fine, both here and in work.

Can any of you guys report the same behaviour?

i've had a few days of this kind of problem now. randomly getting signed out of msn, having messages not delivered ( in the middle of a conversation ).
i was beginning to suspect is was something deeper rooted on my machine, but the only thing i could come up with is massive amounts of CRC error's on my dsl line.

Yeah my connection is doing the same as is every ones here in work...bloody annoying...... i blame my isp "eircom" know other ppl with differnet isp's and they arent having ay problems

hi all,im on NTL and having severe trouble.i upgraded to version 7.5 up from 7.0.and when i finished i was getting errors to beat the band,would not recognise my password,had to reset password,ended up uninstalling it and installing the older version,still had problems not recognising my user name and password,so i reset that again with new password,still nothing,tried my old password and it worked,i had to go into TOOLS,internet options,content,and click on clear SS state,seems to be working fine for me now,but im still getting messages in my inbox from msn about me reseting my password,up to 5 a day,and my friends msn keeps droppping and connecting itself,so steer clear of version 7.5 for a bit till it becomes stable,

I've always used MSN Messanger tru GAIM and i've never had a disconnection problem with MSN.....

Yes i was messing with my router today to try and fix the problem.
Couldn't find anything wrong with the router.

I moved back to WINDOWS messenger from the latest Msn messenger and i *think* things are ok now.

My friends using msn on windows have been having trouble. My friends using msn on gaim on windows have been having trouble. My friends and I using msn on gaim on linux haven't been having trouble.... :rolleyes:

Its so messed up . I signed in now and its giving me the weather for New york instead of ireland. I now also have all these new tab thingys down the left side of my messenger window. Its gone cookoo.

I've been having issues as well, but it's fine when I use it (Trillian) over a VPN to the states, which is what led me to think it was a routing issue.

In fact, my whole contacts list was having problems.. just kept signing out randomly..

I was on last night and my friends were getting disconnected constantly, I never had a problem. On Esat, using windows.
