I was away recently and the only English speaking TV channel was CNN. So I heard everything about Katrina but just minor watching. Envromental concerns were mention of course at no surprise. I then got to thinking hey that't the gulf of Mexico they are eventually going to effect and that swings our way is anybody complinaing? Forgot the point but I have still not seen any reports on it or concerns. Unlike the sunami the areas hit here were heavily industrialised so surely this could be a big problem to us?
Are there any reports or articles on this that I missed? Am I just being a little paranoid?

I think you're being a little OTT, the North Atlantic is big I mean really big, its the size of an Ocean! Whatever foul soup is washing about the Gulf of Mexico it'll be well diluted befor it reaches us.

    Mike.
