Firefox problem

    I recently changed to firefox and installed in on my computer and mate it my prefered explorer.

    Yesterday I up graded to v1.0.7 and it worked yesterday.

    This morning however it wont work it says operation has timed out. I unstalled it and reinstalled v1.0.6 and checked proxy settings still no sucess.

    Any ideas???

    Have you tried opening a webpage with Internet Explorer? The net connection could be dead.

    explorer works grand the network connection is good
    Seems to be a firefox problem

    Make sure that your firewall sytem hasn't blocked Firefox by default after you upgraded!

    This is probably the problem.

    Good firewall software will detect this as a changed program of some sort.

    What firewall software are you using? If it's a problem with that, it'll help us expediate the solution.

    How do I check that?

    The person beside me runs v1.0.6 ok on same firewall. This is on my work network so their firewall settings may have changed maybe??
