processer upgrade

    im lookin to upgrade my processer fairly soon im currently using an amd sempron 1.5g (all i could afford at the time) so what i would like to know is can i just get a new one or does the mobo need to be upgraded too?its an nf-7 with a gig of ram. any thoughts on what i should upgrade to?thanx in advance :)

    Pick up a second hand AMD XP 3000+ or 3200+, don't think you can still buy them in shops...?

    you could get a mobile xp (most are good overclockers but not all)
