Viking Direct: Office Chair: Down from €300 to €79.99

got a catalouge from Viking Direct today and they have a chair which is marked down to €79.99 from €300.

Not quiet sure what to make of this bargain myself.
Sounds a bit like those great sofa deals you see on tv.
Make the list price artificially high and then have a "great sale"!

However, delivery is free and even assembled if you're in Dublin.(see catalouge scan)
And viking will take back things fairly easily.

It looks IDENTICAL in every way to the one I bought in Aldi over 12 months ago , even right down the the stitching on the backrest. It was about €79 or so then I think.

€300 would seem very very steep, but for €79 they are a fine chair. I wonder if they were sold for €300?

This has been 79.99 for a few months... it does look almost identical to the ALDI offer a while ago (which I got and am happy with). Definitely a good deal for 80 quid but never worth 300

That price is exclusive of VAT by the way.

I have it. It's a very nice chair. I've never seen it at €300, and tbh, I would want a much better chair for €300!
