    www.ticketservice.nl is the Dutch ticketmaster site, which should give you a run down of all the gigs in the 'Dam that weekend

    Wow thanks guys, id listen to most music, except metal (sorry :D ) and chart dance but mostly singer songwriter/indie.

    Ill have a look at these sites.

    What type of music is Tom Mc Crae?

    Hard Fi are quite good - were nominated for Mercury prize. Can't really give a description of their music but if you're considering going to see them it'd be well worth picking up a copy of their album first (CCTV I think it's called).

    <edit>

    there's also ticketmaster.nl - hard-fi seem the best bet though (competing with Michael Bolton, Dubliners on tour and Jamiraquoi)

    just to let you know the french crowds are notorious for being grumpy f***ers at gigs. they wont sing along and be careful that you dont block anyones view.

    Wow, sweeping generalisation in being totally wrong shocker. I spent a year in France, and went to many gigs and I wouldn't quite say that's true. In Paris, they seemed a little bit more...static than Dublin, but certainly in Lyon they were usually as good if not better than the crowds in Dublin. It depends alot on what gig you go to and where it's on too.
