Trouble with portal page

    Hey,

    Registered today and got my email, username and password etc etc.
    Do I have to wait a certain amount of time before I can log on??
    I tried and failed.. Hmm..

    Anyways Orientation's over for moi.. Back to reality on Monday..

    I entered my username and password and there said there was an error.. several times :rolleyes:

    What time did you do that at?

    They often have downtime at this time of night so that could be why. The portal pages usually don't work, or don't work properly around midnight - 2am.

    Did you try it with your e-mail address, or just the portal page?

    Try using your e-mail: http://stumail.dcu.ie/mail/main and see if it works there.

    Both didn't work.. I tried it about 11.30 p.m.
    Maybe that's it. Does it work immediately after you register?

    There wont be anything important to check in e-mail/portal page 'til next week anyway. The mailing lists wont change until all years have registered so there's no need to panic.
