Nice stuff. Much easier to follow than the last one (I can hear someone going "pfff... Yeah, follow it down..."; How many people only read the first post with the last update announcement and wondered what the change was? Hmm?)

 The sticky's have been culled!

    Nice one Giblet..

Oh and a new record for me! I read the charter within a few minutes of it being updated (hehe took me nearly a year to read the original one! :D)

There may be further culling. After Hours might change as you know it!

We didn't really add any new rules to the charter just compacted the old one a bit and reworded it slightly.

Isn't the ;)" alt="tag off message below and the absence of an IMG button in the post editor enough to get across that pictures can't be posted? ;)" />

It might be turned back on one day if it isn't abused, also I'm afraid this was a collaborative effort.

I still don't get the charter as it seems to be applied so randomly. Some poeple just seemed to be allowed be abusive with little said.

    Not for long.

Common Sense > Charter. Why? Less reading and more sense.

    Common Sense isn't so common.

Giblet, my good fellow, sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings, but I can't help noticing the alarming increase in the number of poorly thought out and misplaced threads since you posted the updated charted. It has led me to belive that not only is common sense not so common, it is also rarely sensible.

If you could re-post it n Ann and Barry pictures it may have a better impact -alternatively you could sticky them for just long enogh for people to ridicle and hurl abuse at the OP - hoorah for dropping people as children!

The belt will tighten, people need to get it through their heads that threads that haven't had any thought behind them will be closed soon. With the number of people now using Boards.ie we can now sacrifice rubbish posters to the muppet gods only to be left with a mecca of good threads/
