    Hey,

I'm considering applying for a customer service-type job with Google.

I've heard they're a good liberal company to work for. Can anyone verify this?

I've looked at the site - fairly standard benefits.

But do they pay reasonably well?

    Any information appreciated.

    Thanks.

I've only heard good things - Friend of a friend works for them.

One of the odder things is that you're obliged to sign a contract that the company may require you to look at images of a pornographic nature, and you accept this as part of your job :D

I've got a friend and a bro who work there and it seems to be a good place. Pay is alright and they have a free canteen as well!

I browsed one of their ads a while back, and was immediately turned off by the
"on call" clause. As a senior java developer, I didn't like the sound of that.
Prefer the 9 to 5:30pm jobs, were you walk out the door and you're free !

    regards,
    Owen
