View the Milky Way at 10 million light years from the Earth. Then move through space towards the Earth in successive orders of magnitude until you reach a tall oak tree just outside the buildings of the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory in Tallahassee, Florida. After that, begin to move from the actual size of a leaf into a microscopic world that reveals leaf cell walls, the cell nucleus, chromatin, DNA and finally, into the subatomic universe of electrons and protons.

First time I've seen it pretty slick alright. I just wonder if they will find anything beyond quarks :eek:

Ah but they said that before they found the quarks, no one really knows, then again I dont have a clue but lets let other people worry about that

seen it before but it still amazes me. How can people say we are the only life form with the size of the universe....i wish i was immortal

If you haven't already read Bill Brysons "A Short History of Nearly Everything" I would advise it. Great book.

I've seen it a few times before, it's one of those things people keep posting on bulletin boards and sending in emails. It is very nice though. Great for giving you a sense of distance
