For those of you with Canadian as well as American cousins, this episode was shown last night in Canada. You may want to get in contact with them and see if they taped it for you.

A pretty average filler I thought. Quite predictable, and a good oppertunity to learn more about the Ancient/Wrath history was completely wasted. And we didn't even get some good shots of the ship.

Yeah but the wraith was hot! Really hot!

As far as SGA filler eps go I thought this was alright. Nothing special or original that I haven't seen tens of times before. But I still liked it. Maybe it was the whole VR thing.

Solid, helped by some good McKay/Sheppard banter. It wasn't particularly clever and, yes, we obviously saw some budget limitations when the Wraith cruiser got destroyed as a blip on screen. Still it satisfied me until we see the finale this Friday (of which I expect bigger things).

for ancients, they really didnt seem that advanced

it just looked like the deadulus with different uniforms

ok episode but it could have been worse, i was dreading it being like that episode of voyager where they get trapped in a virtual enviroment with a psycho clown

Well, at least know they know the Wraith have some sort of weakness and they just need to find it.

I have to admit, they didnt seem as advanced as I would have liked them to be. Their technology was great and all but the people themselves just didnt add up to being the gate builders. The fact that they just ignored Major Shep. after he amazingly appeared on a ship that was stuck in the middle of nowhere for so long too, I would have thought that could have surprised them enough for the Captain to actually listen to what he had to say insted of throwing him into the cell.

Good filler episode, nevertheless. Was nice to see what could have been on Aichent ships, but also .... to discover that there is a chance of there being a vital weakness to the Wraith.

Still though, wtf with their weapons. They looked like toys!

It was an ok ep, nothing major. I did like the bit with Ronan at the start. He looked very confused. :D

As for the tech, I am thinking that the Aurora is an old ship. (McKay refared to the hyper drive as being an older type of drive if I remember correctly)

As for them not lissing to what Sheppard had to say. Well it was a War ship. So they would more likely be the more milatary group of the Ancient.

I cant wait for the next ep, from what I read, it and its second part look to be good.

Good filler but nothing more. The writers could have used a much better way to introduce the whole "weakness" of the Wraith tech bit as the whole society living in VR has just been done to many times on the Stargate shows.

Enjoyed it , although story was so-so. Character interaction and development is coming on quite nicely.

It was pretty average imo.....like, it was good for development of charcters and great for story development, but ultimatly, all of it's good qualities were overshadowed by the fact that nothing was gained.

And it was full of unexplained inconsistancies, ie...why the hell couldn't Deadulus take on two puny cruisers!?!?!!

Maybe it wasn't so much that the Deadulus couldn't take the cruisers, but if one of the cruisers ran from the fight and told the rest of the wraith that they'd met the Deadulus, a ship that was meant to have been destroyed with atlantis, they'd be back to atlantis to have a second look.

But ships are always able to pick up other ships before exiting hyper space.
