it didn't say where it was opening or when, just looking for staff

there are plenty of places in town vacant at the moment which might houses, marys of limerick for example, or someplace in cruises street

hopefully it wont be on cruises street or around there, it would be nice to see some big stores move away from the cruises street area

I'm guessing Cresent! People were talking about it before, and when was the last time the cresent expanded without having a new major tenant! Thats due to open in the next month so that would be the first wave of ads for jobs, looks like its heading out here!

i hope it doesnt go out into the crescent, everything seems to be going out there, and its on the other side of the city from where i am, i hope they at least put it in town

Yeah, the cresent is easier for me, but A megastore would deffinatly attract people to the city, (only real thing doing that now is the little HMV, and pool halls/bars etc.

ya the city centre is losing its appeal more and more for me

Hope a cinema, bowling alley and a virgin Megastore go into the city centre! Plus some kinda adventure centre or something to do!!!!

a couple more strip clubs, huge vegas style casino, and a shooting range for the city centre, that's what I'd like to see

anybody with me on this one?

if VM went to the cresent would suit me perfectly.. only 5 min walk from it.. although i'm only a 15 min walk from city centre.. lmao..

Well actually, it could go in the new Riverpoint tower (which is opening up now) or where Marys of Limerick used to be (thats a big enough space)
But really there aint too many places it could go

I would have thought that Mary's of Liemrick would be too small for a virgin megastore. besides, if I were starting up somewhere, William street wouldnt be where I would go. it is not the nicest of streets in the city. But then who whould have thought that the likes of Dixons and would have went there.

yeah, but when the new plan goes ahead all southbound traffic leaving the city will have to go up it! maybe they hope to bring new life to the street. Marys (as far as i remember) was really big, and was 2 storeys! but i was thinking it was a bad area too... but its free
I doubt a megastore in Limerick would be anything extremely big

I wouldnt be suprised if they put it in the city east park (b&q) theres actually a lot more shops going up there than i thought, its very like the parkway retail centre with the buildings being disigned the same etc
though it would be very big for a music shop

omg, forgot about that side ... hope it doesnt go there anyway
