I'm a 24 year old Dub, and the other fella is of a similar age. We sing and write and bang beautifully on our guitars. Big fans of The Smiths, The Pixies and Neil Young, Bowie and the Velvet Underground. There are a thousand more you might care to list, but as influences go, (it seems to be expected that you list quite specifically your influences even if it is a futile exercise)these are the seminal ones. Also the great blues singers and guitarists; Son House, Howlin' Wolf, Rory Gallagher, Robert Johnson, Bessie Smith etc. We wanna find homes for our songs which i think are formidable and want to create a sound that's ours.
