Do me a favour and save me the hassle of trying to navigate Sky's befuddling website:

I started with Sky World, and later dropped the sports channels. I want to drop the movie package now too, both because I don't watch it very much, and because I want to tell Sky that their recent price rise was unacceptable. (I'm paying just short of €60 now, and all they seem to be adding is garbage like abc1.)

I'm unsure if I have to go with one of these new packages though, or if I can just drop the movie channels? If the latter, how much will I be paying? Or would I be better off switching to one of the new packages anyway? I reckon I'd be happy enough with 4 "mixes".

Should not be a problem... if you are a recent contract signee.. in other words still within your first year you are only tied to a package of €28 or something.. so by dropping the movies you will be paying about half!! You will also loose some other stuff like disney etc.
