well surely that would indicate a problem with the keyboard and not the usb stick right? is the usb cable from the keyboard plugged into the pc (my keyboard has a usb cable and a ps2 cable) also have you tried it in other usb slots on the pc?

I highly recommend you buy a 2GB Key, as anything smaller is useless, plus it will last you for life.
Sony centre in the st Stephen green sell the ones I use, and there is a new 2GB key available now but it costs about €1.70 failing that 1GB will do.
But I’m sure you can pick a different brand up for far less money.

    SONY 2GB KEY

Up to your pocket(money) how many MB.
    I think 512MB-1024MB is reasonable.

If your computer has a USB port then it should work, trouble sometimes on usb hubs or win9x os (install CD first on win9x).

Check www.shop4memory.com for healthy prices too.

    regards

I would say wait 4 weeks for one of these.

    The headline:

LaCie to offer 8 GByte USB key for $150

    kinda caught my attention. :)

take a look at the Iomega Micro Mini USB 2.0 Drives

    http://www.iomega-europe.com/eu/en/products/mini_drive/mini_drive_family_en.aspx

I think the most important thing with a key ring usb key is that it can be used as a key ring. most usb keys fall apart in your pocket or when dropped once or twice. so pick something that's going to take some abuse. i have had a 256mb Micro Mini for the last year , its been stood on , dropped ,kicked and sat on and still looks like new. it too not small to acidently damage. I've seen loads of people with usb keys with cello tape and glue holding them together
