So when Locke held Walt's arm, Walt must've gotten a vision, the way psychic people do.

What I want to know is why isn't Locke taking heed? He knows Walt probablt doesn't know about that Hatch and maybe he even knows Walt has powers. But he still seems to want to open the hatch.

Also, I missed a bit with the Marshall telling Kate's story. Why was she ringing him up? Was she trying to get him to let her off the hook? And did she really want the plane? Why did he put it in a safe deposit box?

Yeah, she was basically ringing him up to plead her case. Marshall dude was something of a git and assumed she was taunting him. He returned the favour - since all she cares about is the little plane, he used it as bait. The way I see it, the plane was important to her for two reasons- first, it represents the life she'd have had if she wasn't on the run and everything she doesn't have, and second, as long as the Marshall had it, he had a kind of power over her. And our Kate's not the type to come second in a mind game.

This episode wasn't really as good as What Ever The Case May Be. Hopefully we'll see more of Kates back story as the show goes on and the
plane and her mom being afraid of her
will make more since. As for her calling the marshal which we don't find out in this episode we find out in one of the exodus epsiodes (I don't remember if it's part on or two.) that kinda reminds me of the Frank Abignale Jr/Carl Hanready relation ship from Catch me If you Can. She couldn't really tell the truth to any of the people she met while on the run. The one armed Austrailian Farm or the Bank Robbing Boyfriend. and if she told the child hood sweetheart she would be putting him him jeoperdy (not that she didn't do that already) maybe she just needed someone to talk to.

two more days till lost and veronica mars yay

    Kinda disappointed with this one.
Felt the backstory was a little bit too much here.
Okay we know she's a bad girl but what's that got to do with anything?

    Whats happening on the ISLAND!

And yeah Locke just seemed to ignore Walt. Although let's face it he's obsessed about getting the hatch open.

    :)

The part where katie's mother reacts to katie's presence with horror, was a genuinely creepy moment!

Yeah. Really unnerving. I was all set up for a touching "Fugitive risks it all to reconcile with family!" moment, and then the mother freaked out. And Kate smacking the guy with his walkie talkie was cool. That Tom guy was an idiot though.

Kate looked very glamourous for somebody who'd been on the run for God knows how long...

An important thing we learn in this episode is that the reason Kate is on the run isn't the bank job and that she was on the run before that.

Also, Kate and Tom made the tape on the 15 of August - 15/8 - two more of the numbers.

I can't believe we still haven't been told why the hatch lit up.

Maybe I'm odd, but I'm finding the hatch thing pretty tedious. It could just be that Locke leaves me totally cold, but the hatch plot hasn't really engaged me at all except for the high-speed Boone/ Ground interface.

a boat a galleon ! on the island ? and it seems to be far inland, of course a tsunami could do that, but it sorta of questions the idea that whatever happening on the island is a modern phemonema?

a boat in/on the island what a slly idea :)

michelle rodrigez has very noticeable teeth?
