    Hi Guys

Anyonw know where I can get a compoent vieo cable that terminates with a VGA connection. I have seen them on ebay but would rather just walk in somewhere and buy one.

Needs to be at least 20 feet long as well

Its going to join my DVD Player to my projector.

    Hi there lifebook

I have been looking for something similar for a good while and I just can't get one in Ireland. I have even checked with specialist shops and they won't even make them. You are better off getting it on ebay if you can because the service here in Ireland is a joke.

    liefebook,

i bought mine on the web because i could not get one long enough in ireland. i think i got one from Monster cable (thats the brand) but i cant remmeber outright.

i know this doesnt exactly answer your question but if you are going to shop in dublin, ring them first to make sure they have one long enough. i found they only seemed to have the 6-10 feet ones and would order them for you -- in which case you might as well do that yerself and save some cash...

best of luck..oh and projectors are the cats pyjamas...!!!!

Agree with Fallschirmjager - shops in Ireland don't seem to cater for these cables.

If you can get them from Ebay - do it!

I have had to get mine made and shipped from the US (they should be here today or tomorrow - happy days, will finally be able to professionally fit my projector on my new ceiling!!!!!)

Im starting to see what ye mean. I made the mistake of ringing peats and i was told that this cable is absolutely impossibe and there was no way I will ever get it, Then he said.......wait for it......Maplin might have one (even though there was no way I would ever get one...EVERRRRRRRR)

I just got plans to build one off te net and bought all the bits in maplin for €25. That includes OFC cable and gold plated connections. Not bad. Now all i need to do is solder them all together and voila a nice shiny new component cable for me
