i'm considering doing a masters in international relations in DCU and was wondering does anyone have any insight into the course itself and career prospects after it?
I've read everything on the dcu site relating to it and talked to the relevant people involved and they weren't particularly helpful.
If anyone works in this field or knows about it etc. i would really appreciate some advice, thanks...

I'm not sure how you're still confused if you really talked to the 'relevant people' since they're full of info!

It's still quite a new course for the college and the first BA group are going into their second year though the MA has been running longer.

I'd suggest emailing John Doyle or Peadar Kirby in particular to get an idea of what you can do but it's very broad as to what field you can enter afterwards; anything from UN/NGO work, foreign affairs, journalism etc. etc.

A better question would be what are you interested in doing and how would this course fit into that?
