    Some good results for football over the west this weekend. Coolera won their first championship in Sligo in 98 years, and in Leitrim, Kiltubrid won their first ever championship.

    In Mayo Shrule/Glencorrib (who I played against 7 years ago and they were a Junior team !) are through to the final of the Mayo Senior Final, where they will play Crossmolina. I think a shock is on the cards here, and a fairytale victory for Shrule/Glencorrib.

    These places are all tiny villages, it's great to see them winning county championships.
