    Hamilton 3.00

Fire Two has been the most consistant horse here and should definately be up there at the end, however it has always had trouble getting it's head in front. The odds on favourite is a debutant from the Johnson stable. I think the horse is worth taking on as the odds are too short and I've seen these debutants getting turned over left and right. The rest of the horses are exposed and should be opposed apart from another debutant in the shape of abbondanza. I'm told that this horse is highly regarded and at 16/1 I will have a dabble on it each way. It should place here if it is any good.

Conclusion: Back Abbondanza 16/1 (each way)

    Hamilton 5.15

although Prime Number ran a stinker last time out, I am willing to forgive him because his previous race over this distance when he won showed enough quality to place here at least. The ground will suit, the distance will suit, and I'm not too impressed with Minority Report or Redwood Rocks.

Conclusion: Back Prime number 10/1 (each way)

I also fancy Blue Corrig 14/1 and Callow Lake 10/1 at the Curragh at 2.40 and 3.10 respectively.
