Sorry if this has already been discussesd but whats the deal with tubeless repair kits. From my understanding these used to work fine until tyre manufacturers got wise to their existance and began manufacturing with some kind of lubricant on the inside of the tyre, preventing the repair from sticking. Is this correct?

So, i have a Bros 400 with Dunlop tyres. I found a screw in the rear and wanted to use a tubeless repair kit but have been advised against it. Anyone have similar expirience of this so they can shed some light on the subject? Will it work if i use it on a Dunlop tyre?
